A little bit of stationery stores trademark “Happy” logo has made its way into the hands of customers at a local toy store in Dallas.
The shop’s owner, who asked not to be identified, had noticed the “Happy Christmas” stationery item and decided to give it a try.
“I’m just a normal guy and I don’t think I should be too excited about it,” he said.
“But I was just wondering if I should buy it and see how it works.”
The shop sells cute stationery and other toys at a discount, but they are only available at the store for a limited time, usually one week.
The store has been around for almost a decade, but this time of year, they’re taking orders to keep them stocked.
“We are seeing a lot of customers come in with ideas of what they want to buy and we’re just happy to have that,” the owner said.
“I don’t want to say we’ve had a lot, but we’ve certainly had a few requests for stationery for our store.”
The idea for the “happy” sticker came from a Christmas gift shop that had a limited edition sticker that was printed on a card, and he liked the idea of doing something similar for Christmas.
“When we see people come in for a holiday gift and say they want a ‘happy’ sticker, it’s really cool to see,” he added.
“And we wanted to take that idea and try and do something similar.”
