By now you probably know that the new Android 5.0 Lollipop will be rolling out on April 7th, with the official Google app going live on April 10th.
The update will come in a handful of major Android apps like Maps, Photos, Calendar, Gmail, YouTube, Hangouts, and Google Now.
If you’re looking to install the Google app on your Android phone or tablet, you can do so by following these steps.
Once you’ve installed the Google Android app, head over to the Google Play Store and follow the instructions to get your Google account to be able to use the Google services.
Now that you have the Google account, head to Settings > Accounts and sign in with it.
Once signed in, you’ll be able tap on the “Manage my account” button in the upper right corner of the Google Account.
Tap on “Add Account,” and follow all of the instructions for setting up the Google service.
If all goes well, you should be able access the Google Google app from your phone’s screen.
If not, it’s a good idea to check your spam folder.
If everything goes smoothly, you will have a Google account on your phone, and the Google search box will open.
